The budget tracker allows actual cost and consumption to be tracked against budgets by individual account or by any grouping of accounts. The tracker highlights variances over a user-defined threshold by by month or quarter.

Purpose
To allow comparison between budgeted and actual cost and consumption.
Settings Description Values
Title
Control display title
Custom
Category
Determines how quantitative data is aggregated
Retailer, Business Unit, Asset Type, etc.
Commodity
Determines the commodity for which data will be displayed
  • Energy
  • Electricity
  • Gas
  • Trade Waste
  • Water
  • Wastewater
Metric
The units which consumption is displayed in
  • Electricity Cost Ex. GST($)
  • Electricity Consumption (kWh)
Height
Determines the height of the table (in pixels)
User-Defined
Threshold (%)
The threshold percentage above which a green or red highlight will be used in the "diff" column
User-Defined
Date From
Controls the relative end date of the data. Data will be taken from the start of the previous year until the specified date. For example, selecting "Nov 2012" would give Data from the start of 2011 until November 2012.
Date
Track By
Controls the length of the reporting period used
