The Company Window is used to:
- Create new Companies
- Maintain Company details
- Assign Generator ownership, in whole or in part, to Companies
- Specify Company retail load by Node
- Model Company hedge contracts
The Company Window is comprised of four distinct parts:
- Company details box
- Generators tab
- Retail load tab
- Hedges tab
Warning: Once created a Company Resource is included in a Run by attaching a Connections Resource containing the Company to the Run through the 'Run Window'. (Companies are attached to a Connections Resource via the 'Connections Window'). Any Generators defined in the attached Company Resource MUST also appear in the list of Generators in the Connections Resource or an error message will be generated at run time.
Company Details box
| Name | The name of the Company |
| Version | The Company Version number |
| Description | Free text field for supplementary Company information |
| OptimiseOffers | A True/False field. Company optimisation will be used for the Company only if: *this setting is True, AND *the Company Opt setting in the Run Definition is also set to True. |
