Purpose:
A filter restricts displayed information to a useful sub-set. For example a filter can be applied to display information only for those accounts for a specific business unit and type of metering.
Note: Filters defined in the Data Section function independently to those defined in the Reporting Section.
Accessing the Filter Manager
Applying a Filter
Filtering by a Single Account or ICP
When to use the Filter
You are encouraged to make extensive use of the filter, and make a habit of applying filters as a first step in any analysis or reporting process.
Note: Filtering reduces data server loads, resulting in faster website response times.
