This is where all the physical grid data is assembled. Generators, the Grid, the underlying Demand Profile and Companies are all grouped together.
The Connections Window contains three main components:
- Connections grid box
- Connections generators box
- Connections companies box
The connections Grid Box
The Connections Grid Box is found at the top of the Connections Window and is used to specify the Grid-related details associated with the Connections Resource.
Connections Grid Box Fields
| Name | The name of the Connections Resource Instance |
| Description | A free text field for supplementary details about the Connections Resource |
| Grid | Specifies the Grid Resource associated with this Connections resource. Double clicking on this field opens the Grid Window for the specified Grid. |
Warning: The Demand Profile field in the Regions Window does NOT have any influence on the Demand at the Nodes during a Run - its purpose is to provide a list of Nodes to assign to Regions.
